Sister with wicked MRSA wound infection

My sister contracted a MRSA infection from foot surgery (and possibly because
brother-in-law is ID'd as carrier now and he is in the hospital presently for
Anyway, my sister was VERY ill with all the classic symptoms of septicemia. Finally,
after some horrible treatment in two ER visits, she was hospitalized just shy of a
week for IV antibiotic treatment. She sustained liver impairment as a result and had
very enlarged lymph nodes in her groins. The infection had traveled from foot to
It took months for the medical staff to treat her and give proper diagnosis. She was
constantly turned away due to lack of insurance.
Here is my question. How long would it seem reasonable for her to be lacking any
energy and have no appetite? She has lost weight due to vomiting and infection.
To give an idea of her status, she used to play around on the computer ALL day,
playing games/social networking/chatting with family. She smoked and drank coffee
pretty much nonstop all day and had a great appetite for the most part. Now, after
being home 1 week from the hospital and having received treatment with
antibiotics, she is lucky to connect for 5 minutes out of the day on the phone or
computer and still cannot eat. She has literally no energy. She has not touched a
cup of coffee in months! This is someone who was a constant phone talker...hard to
shut her up. Mind you...I am not unhappy that she stopped smoking!
Is this a normal recovery or should we be concerned that the antibiotics were
ineffective and that she is still infected? I don't know how to help her.
Anyone with knowledge that may be helpful?

Jen - Sorry to hear about your sister but maybe there is something you can do to help.
I suggest you read all the garlic posts in this forum and learn ab out garlic water baths as they could hold the key to your sis returning to her old self and also help her husband as well.
Crushed raw non-irradiated garlic kills MRSA on contact and MRSA cannot become immune to it at all. Learning how to use it can do wonders for getting MRSA out of a person's body and restoring their normal health and vigor.
Doctors are not allowed to recommend it because there is no FDA treatment protocol allowing for its use. It is something people must discover on their own and put into practice on their own but it does work. If you will read the garlic posts in this forum you will find several people who tell about having used it with success.
I urge you to educate yourself about this wonderous old herb and go out and find some good non-irradiated garlic and give it to your sis and explain it to her, or better yet, invite her to read this forum.
I once used direct application of garlic to cure a staph infection, that's why I post in this forum, to help others find a cheap solution that really does kill MRSA. That's right, cheap old ordinary garlic kills MRSA dead every time. Having a little temporary garlic odor is better than having MRSA.
The different garlic posts teach how to tell natural garlic from irradiated garlic, which does not work.
Good luck to you both.
