Diabetes & Recurrent MRSA

I am very worried re 30 year old daughter with now four outbreaks in 4 months with MRSA-first one with a 17 day hosp stay due to new diagnosis with Diabetes (Blood glucose 596!) and then ALLERGIC iNFLAMATORY nEPHRITIS WITH CREATINE UP TO 8.9-VERY SCARRY. Long term steroids and Antibiotics resulted in improvement and healing of the site that started under and spread to back and most of breast finally being able to be drained. Then 40ish days later an outbreak in abdomen requiring incision & darinage & more antibiotics..Then when healed..another under arm-going down arm and now another under arm going around to the back..Each time antibiotics were taken and as soon as done AGAIN MRSA. She has no insurance and her first hosp bill was greater than 90,000 dollars,,hopefully charity care will be approved..Never seen by ID..might that be helpful? One last problem-her veins are a 8-10 stick each time and she can't swallow pills.
HELP
Thanks

It took over a year on doxycycline and bactrim to clear up my MRSA.

I worked on my immune system too. No trans fat, soda, junk food. Lots of vitamins
and minerals. Essential fatty acids, amino acids. Vitamins B, D and C are very important
for sick people. Selenium and magnesium are very helpful for MRSA.

Anti inflammatories like aspirin, turmeric, nettle, qurcetin.

It really is a permanent life style change for me to stay well.

The most important doctor she should have on her team is a good ID. He/she will run the tests, do the cultures and decide on appropriate medication. It is imperative that the CORRECT antibiotics be given. If they have been oral, they are not the right ones. She needs IV or PICC infusion therapy.
